Antique Pittsburgh Cast Iron Arts & Craft Slag Glass Mission Style Oil Lamp
This is a Fabulous Pittsburgh Cast Iron Arts & Craft Slag Glass Mission Style Oil Lamp!!! This lamp appears to be all original it is super solid and very beautiful. It is a working oil lamp the burner works great but does need a wick the font is in very good condition but I’m guessing it has been refinished. There is one issue with one of the shades panel it has a crack line but it is mostly blocked by the shades frame!! One panel on the shade is a bit more transparent but I still think it is an original panel a few of the other panel have some of the same transparent look too in the corners so I’m assuming they all came from one panel that was cut to fit all four sides. Even with the line in the panel it is still a rare and fabulous Pittsburgh Mission Style Oil Lamp it truly is stunning. The lamp stands 19 3/4" to top of shade 24" to top of chimney the shade is 11" by 11" and is about 15 1/2" at widest point corner to corner, the weight of the lamp for it size is an amazing 18 pounds.
