This old cast iron finial is from a coal/wood parlor
stove. The base has a 8 3/4″ diameter, and it stands
about 11″ tall. The finial has an interesting ornate
design that in one view looks like crossed swords,
and in another looks like the outline of an owl’s face.
No cracks, repairs, or damage, but plenty of rust.
