Here is a beautiful early possibly European streling silver ornate folding pocketjnife with 3 hallmarks on the blade. The knife grip is 3 1/4 inches long and the knife with blade extended is 5 3/4 inches. I do not see Sterling anywhere, but I beleive the hall marks denote setrling silver, possibly from Great Britian. There are several hall marks on the blade, the center one is T & W and one is a rooster. I cannot make out the third, possibly a squirrel? The grip is very ornate with floral embossed detail and foliage. Even the edges have ornate scrollwork. the knife weighs 33 grams. The name A. W. Woods is engraved ornately on the blade. This wonderful early T & W silver poscketknife will make a grea addition to any early European silver folding pocket knife collection.
