This is one item that I do need to explain to you, I found this at a great old auction and at the time it had some paper all over it but it seemed to be coming off and when I sprayed it with a water bottle it just started coming off and I was able to see a great rare and I would say odd and so cool.
The fist thing I will tell you is that the two long sides both have the same Old Reliable Coffee advertising on them and this is a 100 pound coffee wood crate, with this said both sides are upside down as I believe way way back someone decided they wanted to make a box and they used a few different parts ,but in the coolest way.
Old Reliable was the main parts as they are full size and as I have said on both of the long sides, now on the top where the box would open up we now switch to an advertisment for MEXO BLEND COFFEE by THE CLIMAX COFFEE & BAKING POWDER CO. So we have the two long sides and the top, and what about the two ends of the box, well one has nothing and the other end has at the bottom of the end it has listed IMPORTERS & ROAST INDIANAPOLIS IND.
The inside is good and clean and I have tryed to take many pictures of everything I have told you.(also you may look at the leather latches help togather with old small nails, so cool.
NOW all you have to do isdecide what you will do with this one of a kind rare vintage 100 pound coffee crate. I will say you will never find another one like this one, and this is as found, this is NOT a modern put togather item, this is the real thing OLD !!!!!!
One last thing the size the two long sides are 31″ long and the ends are 21″ long and it is 19″ tall.
