This antique late 19th century victorian oil painting on canvas of a rural scottish landscape of two fishermen , or one standing next to a large tree stump at the side of the lake with the highlands in the distance is in good restored condition and is ready to hang . This antique oil painting has the artist’s monogramed intials at the bottom left hand corner of the relined late 19th century canvas. Although, as yet we don’t know who this 19th century Victorian artist was from their monogramed signature , their standard of 19th century scottish school painting is of a good standard in our opinion. This artist has managed to capture the mood of a scottish summers day of two fishermen beside a scottish loch .

ABOUT THIS PAINTING: This antique oil painting is late 19th century c1895 and is of the classic Scottish School .
ARTIST: Unknown at present , although this late 19th century scottish school painter has signed the canvas with their monogramed initials at the bottom left hand corner of the canvas.
CONDITION OF PAINTING: Very good , as it has been professionally cleaned and relined by our restorers. Any old holes or tears have been professionally repaired also.
FRAME: The frame has been replaced with a much later one .
