This is an ashtray that would have been found in Norwegian bars and cafes to advertise the Tiedemann Tobak line of cigarettes at the time: Teddy Virginia Gigaretter, 10 Turban Tyrkiske (Turkish) Cigaretter, and KEF Orientalske Cigaretter.
Printed on the bottom is “Kristiania,” so you know this is old: the modern capitol of Oslo was known as Kristiania until circa 1925.
