ANTIQUE MEISSEN HUGE SUGAR or WASTE COBALT/GOLD BOWL TOGETHER WITH COBALT/GOLD BREAD BASKET
This Meissen bowl is oversized for sugar bowl. Measures 3.25″H and 7″W from handle to handle. The top opening is 5″W.
The gold has a little wear around the rim and handles. No chips or cracks. It has a beautiful gold relief in the center where the cobalt color flows into white.
The bottom is marked with underglazed Meissen cross swords,embossed and imprinted numbers. Please see marks on pic #6
The bread basket measures 13″L x 2 “H. Marked on the back with marks on pic #8. There is a spot whre the basket is missing the scalloping edge shown on pic #5. Hardly visible bacause of the busy pattern.
