Antique Late 1800’s Cast Iron COFFEE GRINDER in Dovetailed Wooden Box

Antique Late 1800’s Cast Iron COFFEE GRINDER in Dovetailed Wooden Box

Antique This coffee bean grinder belonged to my great-uncle Frank at his farm in Macomb County, Michigan, over a hundred years ago. It has some wear on the base and chips on the corners as pictured but no significant cracking and the dovetail joints appear very good.  It has the original patina.  The drawer to receive the coffee grounds is also in very good shape with some small corner chips as well.  The grinder works fine and at it’s top is a knob to adjust coarseness of the grind.  The box is 6 1/2″ x 6 1/2″ and 4 1/4″ high. the handle is 7″ long and the whole unit is 10″ tall.
