You are an antique Ingraham parlor clock. This clock has been working properly only as far as when I advance the minute hand manually; it chimes correctly. The alarm sounded at about 6:30 with a nice tinkling bell & a sad ?? sound. I definately think it needs oil. The springs are both intact & from what I can see, movement is complete. Likely needs a cleaning & oil.It only runs for a few seconds on it’s own, but it starts up on its own when I move it for description.Case is oak with a wonderful raised alligator finish to old varnish. .It looks in good overall condition with a few very small dings, scuffs as typical with age. The tablet of the case is beautiful with generous gold decoration showing very light overall wear. Bell has a bit of surface rust.Looks like a brass or plated bezelwith paper dial with some soil & minor wear.Sliver split to wood case on edge behind closed door; can’t be seen unless door is open. Some wear to finish inside bottom.Decorative pendulumlooks original Latch & hinges work fine on door/ tablet.Majority of paper label still intact.Key included.This great old clock measures approx. 22″high x 14 1/4″ wide x 5″ deep in maximum dimensions..
