Hamilton 17 Jewel, 18 Size, Grade 927
This Hamilton pocket watch is 18 size (case diameter 51 mm) and has 17 jewels. The movement is a Grade 927, lever set, and has the gilt trim throughout, including the gilt case mounting screws. Movement condition is very nice, but note one long but not deep scratch across the barrel bridge. The porcelain dial is excellent, and the hands are very nice and matching. This movement is cased in an unmarked glass backed display case that shows off the fancy gold trimmed movement nicely without having to open the case and let dust inside. The case is in nice shape with snap on bezels as is typical for these, and with glass crystals on both sides.
This watch runs and keeps reasonable time, but please be aware, I do not know the service history of this particular watch. This watch may, or may not, need to be cleaned and oiled soon.
