This auction is for an amazing antique locket. I am listing this as gold filled but I can not get the picture and glass out to search for any markings. It could be 14k or 12k filled, you may even get really lucky and it could be real gold! This locket is truly beautiful with it’s unique engraved designs on front and back, plus as a bonus you are getting a tin type picture of an old lady that was special to someone. This locket is in good working order, with very minor scuffing, discolorations and scratches that occur with use and age. There is a chip in the glass on the opposite side of the picture from someone trying to pry the glass open. (it wasn’t me lol) There appears to be some type of brown fabric under the glass, perhaps the owner used this as a type of tribute or mourning locket. Locket measure approx 2″ x 1 1/2″
