PLEASE SCROLL DOWN TO SEE ALL PHOTOS……..For your consideration is this wonderful old German paper mache candy container, an egg shaped mandolin with a crisp lithographed moon face image. The colors are vibrant and the detail is excellent. There are six cotton strings and a gauze ribbon strap. The box is trimmed in royal blue Dresden sawtooth edging, all intact! There is a crease along the back, not a crack but rather an indentation in the paper that looks to have occurred during the molding process when it was made. The top of the neck is soft where it connects to the head. Again, not broken just creased. Three of the six little paper tuning pegs are missing. I want to point out everything I see but overall this is in fine condition. Measures 6.5″ top to bottom. The egg portion is 3.25″. Domestic Priority shipping with Delivery Confirmation is $6.00. First Class shipping with tracking is $3.50. I ship internationally as well. However, I WILL NOT SHIP TO ITALY! I normally ship USPS Priority mail with Delivery Confirmation.
