ANTIQUE GEORGIAN FUSEE VERGE BALANCE COCK BRACELET
Probably made during the early Victorian era,with much older Georgian balance cocks from Fusee Verge pocket watches.
Hand pierced and fretted, then hand engraved these balance cocks are a work of art in their own right.There are six here that make up the bracelet.There are 4 with different hand chased gargoyles, one with what looks like a coat of arms,and one with ornate basket of flowers.
4 of them measure 2.4cm x 2.2cm and the other 2 a little smaller 2.1cm x 2cm.
Each balance cock is connected by rolled gold chains,the closing catch is a push in bar, again in rolled gold. Good strong safety chain.
Length of bracelet is 18.5cm exc push in bar.
Weight is 15.9 grams.
Condition is excellent, no faults.
