A fine and rare example of a georgian or early victorian silver paste riviere necklace.
There are a total of 24 gorgeous foil backed emerald pastes set in silver. The colour is an intense dark green. The clasp has been replaced at some time in the past with a silver bolt ring. All the silver has the desirable old antique patination.
The overall condition is fine, with no damage or dents to the silver and only very light wear to the pastes.
Each paste measures approximately 8mm x 6mm in dimensions. The necklace is 41cm long.
