Silver, gold and black dot paste brooch, dating from the 1820s/ 30s. This brooch is unmarked but it acid tests as silver and gold. The front of the brooch is silver and the back is 9ct rose gold. The stones are foil backed and are meant to look like diamonds, with a black dot in the centre of each paste stone. It has a glass fronted panel in the front to hold a lock of hair, there is no hair under the glass, it has a piece of pale blue satin inside. This piece is approx. 2.6cm x 1.1cm.
Condition: Very very minor dulling to a couple of the stones but generally in great condition for it age.
