ITEM DESCRIPTION
An antique 19thC Georgian trinket box modelled in the form of a miniature sarcophagus tea caddy of shell with unmarked “white metal” stringing & central rectangular unengraved cartouche; having depression button lock and small hinge both of which remain functional & intact with the box standing on four ball bead feet. (c.1825)
OVERALL CONDITION
Very Good – We would remind bidders that this item is antique & pre-owned with associated surface wear, the lid sits slightly off centre due to a small kink in the hinge – as shown above.
