A Souvenir of Times Past ………

A charming decorative antique French wall mounted shelf.
The back panel has an attractive floral cut-out fretwork relief. The shelf is supported by a swivel arm.
In good vintage condition. There are a few light scuffs and scratches from its previous life as would be expected.
It has numerous long dead wormholes. These have been treated and now cause no problem. 
On the plus side this can be a good thing, as they give a wonderful hazy nostalgic feel of time gone bye.
The hinges have a little movement and show signs of wear but seem to work OK. 
There are a couple of basic small nails/pins that have been used to hold the shelf down flat and also fasten the frame to the wall.  Although this idea is a little rustic, it is still a nice, useful Shabby Chic item.
