Antique French Portico Portal mantel clock with marks of maker Japy Freres et Cie, Grande Medalilee d’honneur indicating date of 1888. Marks also include the number 63742 & Made In France. Clock is black finish with light wood marquetry inlay. Clock size is 19 1/4″ height x 9 1/2″ width x 5 1/2″ depth. Clock will need clock repair if desired to run, but all parts are on clock. Clock key is included. The clock’s case is in fair condition and has some small areas of marquetry missing on linear borders. There is also some black veneer missing on top front and veneer damage to one side as shown in photos.
