Beautiful antique French opaline egg casket hinged box is held by an ormolu framework. Piece is 3 3/4″ high and the egg has a hand painted lotus water lily motif. Each side of the inside of the egg is hand painted with the number 49 and there is a butterfly on top. In with no chips, cracks, or damage.
