I have been a collector of flow blue for many years resulting in a varying number of items in a number of patterns. I am not a dealer nor do I have an website store. Rather I am a senior citizen who after ten years since retiring must start downsizing – getting rid of much that is of no particular interest to my children and grandchildren.All my flow blue is vintage / antique.
This listing is for a 8 1/2″ plate in the pattern “Shanghai” by Wade. I was unfamiliar with the manufacture’s mark on the back of this plate. According to other website listings, this mark belonged to the English manufacturer WADE. As you can see in the second photo there is a great deal of flow to the back of the plate. Other than the usual manufacturing “blips” found on these old pieces of flow blue I see only slight crazing and some utensil marks when the light reflects on the plate a certain way. No chips, cracks or browning.

Because of a shoulder injury I can not lift over a certain weight, therefore I do not have more than 5 items of glassware, china or ironstone in a listing and as a general rule I do not combine shipments. For this reason I always try to charge the actual shipping and packing expenses.
