Antique FACTORY Walnut Diamond Gun Grips 1920’s S&W K Frame 10 12 & Square Butt
This is for a pair of antique and used SMITH & WESSON FACTORY grips. These look to be in the 1920-1929 era according to SUPICA/NAHAS.
The grip screw is included
They are panel types which create and open front & backstrap.
The grips are solid WALNUT, with diamond centers full checking 139441.
The right grip has a lightly penciled serial number which looks like
139441
These grips are for the old style K Framed revolvers (Hand Ejectors) with a SQUARE BUTT.
The grips are used, but overall in VERY GOOD condition.
The checking is evenly and only loghtly worn. No FLAT SPOTS. The diamonds are raised and defined. The borders are clear and defined. The only significant flaw is the lower right panel at the lower edge has an old ship, as shown…and that has worn smooth over the year and is not that noticeable.
The grips have a handsome patina, No other cracks or chips and are a nice vintage pair for your vintage gun.
