You are two rare piecees of A J Beatty & Sons that are true antiques dating back to the late 1880’s. I believe these are two tumblers in the Beatty Swirl Blue pattern. They measure approximately 3 3/4 inches tall, and 2 1/2 inches in diameter. This pattern features opalescent blue glass rendered in a protruding swirl design. One bowl has a tiny chip on the edge and some hairline cracks. Condition for both glasses is very good, considering their age, with only minor “wear” scratches in the bottom. This quality set would be a grand addition for the serious collector or for someone who truly appreciates its quality.
