This is
an antique cobalt carnival glass fluted bowl with handles and an unusual
design. I could not find the design to
know what to call it. It is about 6 1/2â€
at the handles and about 6†measured the other way. There is a hairline under the bottom of one
handle and I would not normally list it due to that but it is minor and the
glass is all secure and it seems to be a rare pattern.
I am listing this for a friend in her sixties and this belonged to her mother.
I am also listing some other vintage
carnival glass Jadeite and I will be happy to combine shipping for multiple
auctions.
I will not guarantee safe arrival of fragile glass items unless you PAY FOR INSURANCE. I package things very carefully and have not had anything broken in years but I can’t guarantee how the package will be handled nor whether someone will drive over it or throw it on concrete (yes, those are real things buyers and sellers have told me they had happen). Fortunately those things are rare and most postal workers are great, as is my Post Office.
