You are some type of wood folk art. I think that it is either a candlebox or a saltbox. I am not to sure tho becuse I do not know what it is. IT is made out of wood. I do belive that it is handmade. You can see the chisell marks. I do not know how old it is, but to me it looks like an antique. It does show wear wich you can see from the pics. It is 10 inches tall and 6 amd a half inches wide across the back. Please note that I am not an expert. I am only stating what it looks like to me.
