ANTIQUE BRASS MEDICAL SCARIFICATOR FLEAM BLOOD LETTING TOOL
This is for a lovely clean brass Scarificator from the late 1800s. It was used for letting blood and it has 16 slots on the base where the skin would be cut. It works by firstly priming the lever on the top inside, the little cutters inside are sprung loaded so as when the button on the side is pushed forward they fly round and make 16 little incisions in the skin. It is in absolute with no damage to it anywhere, it has all its original parts and is fully working. It has lovely look to it too, very solidly made with a nice warm patina to the brass.
