Vintage majolica figurine of boy holding a pipe with his feet in the ashtray. Glazed white area on knee where color glaze did not adhere. Measures approx. 3″ tall, 4 1/4″ wide, 3 1/2″ deep. On the bottom imprinted are the #’s “6827” and below that “36”. Written in blue “#5”.
Very nice condition but has some tiny fleabite chips, bubble pops in the brown glaze around the bottomand some minor wear on glaze consistent with age. This has an accumulation of dust from over the years and needs to be cleaned in some areas. Vibrant multi-color piece that displays very well. This was recently purchased at an estate sale.
