Super Parian bust of the Roman Goddess Diana
or known as the Greek Goddess Artemis.
She was known as the goddess of light,
mistress of groves, and often represented as Diana The Huntress.
This Superb bust of Diana stands 11.25 inches
high on a separate attached socle base.
Of exquisite quality with fine crisp detail.
The condition is excellent with just some
restoration to her headdress; this apart is without chips, cracks, or firing flaws.
Although not marked the quality, touch, shade
and execution would more than suggest a Worcester manufacture.
A super bust of Diana it displays very well.
