Here’s an Absolute Beautiful ANSONIA Open Escapement Mantel Clock that’s in SUPERB ORIGINAL Condition! 100% COMPLETE with the Original Pendulum and winding Key for both sides of the face. As you can see it has a couple “Mythical Dragons” hanging on each side that along with the Open Escapement really Catches your Eye on this one! The BEVELED Glass Cover is also Original with the face of the Clock being PORCELAIN with NO scratches or cracks to be found in either! Actually there’s hardly a scratch or marking of any kind to be found anywhere on this Piece, She’s a BEAUTY! Keeps perfect Time with a Deep sounding Cathedral Gong that is a pleasure on the ears! Measures just about 18″ long x 11 1/2″ high x 8″ deep. On the back of the workings it’s marked: “Patented June 18th 1882” and there’s a number 5 stamped in the brass also along with a few other readings, photo # 10 shows this.
