You are the ANTIQUE 14K SOLID GOLD JOSEPH JOHNSON LIVERPOOL KEYWIND POCKET WATCH pictured below.
This lever fusee watch has a good balance staff and attached chain between barrel and fusee but needs a clean and oil to run. I believe the movement made in the U.K. and the case made in the U.S. This appears to have a Massey Type III lever escapement.
The case has tested at 14k solid gold. It is not marked as to content but I will guarantee it to be 14k solid gold. The rear cover does not close tightly but does close and stays shut. There is a slight crack to edge of case that can be seen when front cover is opened (seen in 4th pic from bottom). It appears stable and has not created a problem. The front cover opens and closes fine. The movement hinge is a bit loose so it can wiggle around – I believe the looseness is at the hinge attached to dial plate (not on case). The bow is still stiff. The back cover has quite a bit of smoothing and one or two tiny dings. Diameter of the case is approx. 51.5mm. Te watch weighs 112.3 grams. I would guess this watch dates to 1830s-1840. The dial has a faint hairline. Good watch to clean and get running and quite ornate engraving.
