I am pleased to offer this 7″ tall antique German bisque shoulder head doll.Incised on the back of shoulder head with numbers that look like a 613 and then 10 10. They are faint so I have shown these in my photos, I may be incorrect with these numbers. I do not know her past history, there is a Second Place red winner ribbon with this doll from a doll club dated 4/12/86 that is included. This was with her at my purchase. Reference shows similar dolls make by Simon and Halbig known as “Little Women” dolls in 1900. I do not know who her maker may be for certain. This is a bisque shoulder head, hands with molded fingers intact, legs from knee down with painted molded gold color shoes with blue ornaments, the body is cloth. Shoes show wear with some paint loss. I do not see any cracks on this bald bisque shoulder head. Lovely face with painted blue eyes, there is black liner over the eye lids with coral liner over the black liner. She has single stroke brown brows and closed mouth. Light blush on her pretty face. Doll wears a lovely little wig that slips nicely over her head, long brown coat with fur and pearl pin. There is a gray hat to accent her outfit. Under the coat she wears antique pantaloons, top and net slip. These undergarments are old with wear and have seen better days.
