Antique Bone Crochet Hooks

* Circa 1890s
Two of these
interesting old crochet hooks are carved from solid pieces of
cow bone. One is flat with carved detail at the top, is in excellent
condition and measures almost 4″ long. The hook is small, about an
American steel size 6. The other has the handle carved as a feather
with a pierced center. It is 5 3/4″ long. The top hole has a tiny chip
at one edge, but the overall condition is great. The hook is about an
American size ‘C’.
The longest
hook has a smooth rounded shaft with carving at the top. It has a
lovely old patina and grain pattern. The
condition is excellent with no chips, cracks or other damage. It is 6
1/8″ long and the hook is
about an American size ‘H’. If you have about this hook, please
