This is a medium size lot of 250 of partial date old buffalo nickels — Over SIX full $2 rolls! These were minted during the 1913 to 1938 time frame.Nickel slot machines were popular in the “Roaring Twenties” and what better to have in your “period correct” slot machine than “period correct” coins! None have been restored or acid treated to enhance the date area. “Partial date” means that one to three digits of the date are showing. A random sample of 50 coins showed 19 to be mintmarked so statistically this group should comtain about 38% mintmarked coins. These would be great for your vintage (or antique) nickel slot machine and would add a little nostaglia and a little more realism! The coins in the scans are the exact coins you will receive — I do not use “stock” photos in any of my listings! None are bent so they should work just fine without jamming up your machine’s coin mechanism. None are “culls” (dark, holed or pitted) or have restored (acid treated) dates. These are also great for promotional handouts, advertising and flea market sellers! Just nice, clean, partial date buffalo nickels.
