1910 ERA VINTAGE ANTIQUE MASON WOODEN DUCK DECOY #3 – ORIGINAL PAINT GLASS EYES
This is a very good looking OLDER & VINTAGE 1910 Era WOODEN ANTIQUE & PRIMITIVE MASON DUCK DECOY Let me start off by answering this question “Where did this old wooden duck decoy come from? “ Some of you may remember that about two years ago, we liquidated a very large doll collection. There was a lady who lived in western Nebraska and she had been a longtime doll collector. She lived in a huge three story farm house that was packed, packed, packed full of dolls. When she passed away, she left her massive doll collection to her five grandchildren. One of the grandsons contacted us about two and a half years ago and we liquidated a part of his share of the collection. Remember, he only inherited 1/5 of the collection. He had previously liquidated half of his share through a company that sold dolls. He kept a good part of the collection and he gave us dozens of boxes to sell and it took us about 6 month to sell those boxes. There were some amazing items. Well, now a second grandson has contacted us. He also had kept some of the amazing dolls,, but he has several boxes of doll items and furniture and miniatures that he just does not have room to enjoy, so we will be selling some amazing items from his share of the collection. This second Grandson also inherited his Grandfathers Antique Wooden Mason Duck Decoy Collection. Most all of the items that the Grandfather collected were vintage Wooden Masoon Duck Decoys and there are about twenty beautiful decoys we will be selling over the next couple of weeks and then we will go back to the Grandmother’s dolls. We will list between 3 and 4 decoys a night on Monday – Thursday evenings. If you buy more than one, we will be happy to combine shipping. I am not an expert on Duck Decoys and because Mason did not mark all of their decoys, there is an element of subjectivity. So, if any of you are experts or avid collectors and wish to add information or opinions on some specific element of a particular auction, email me and I will add your comments to the bottom of the listing. There are a couple newer decoys and we will state this in our listing. But, there is no doubt that the great majority of these decoys are older decoys and they are vintage and wooden and they are amazing. So, here goes with this DUCK DECOY #3 GREENISH – BROWNISH WOODEN DECOY Green Brown Black & White paint along the body Glass Eyes Rivets around the body 16″ in length 8″ in height Original paint CONDITION: Some minor Paint chipping along the beak and along the body Some nicks in the wood Crack around the neck area and some wood loss There was a wooden runner on the bottom, but now missing. You can see where it once was Please Note There is a crack in the neck area it is not perfect and it is not new!!!! All of our decoys will start at $9.99 and we will let the market determine the value of each of these vintage Mason Duck Decoys This low starting price does not reduce the value of these collectible decoys, rather, we just let the market determine the value. We have liquidated the dolls in the same way and you can check some of our past auctions and see that many have sold for over $500 and some have brought over a $1000 and all started at $9.99. We just believe in a good old fashion honest auction – so bid and enjoy this collection of Duck Decoys SHIPPING POLICY: We are always happy to combine shippping. At the end of the night, website sends out automated invoices and they simply add all shipping charges together. At the end of the night, usually around 10 or 11 PM, after all our auctions have ended, we go back and manually make adjustments for people who have won more than one item. We do everything to save you money and us time. PLEASE NOTE: The large or heavy items we ship the item by Fed Ex Ground because it is less expensive and our goal is to ship via the most economical way. Also, items shipped by Fed Ex come with insurance and tracking and we place this tracking when we ship. You can go to website and the item number and look under “VIEW ORDER DETAILS” and you will see the tracking number. Fed Ex Ground items must be shipped to a physical address and this can be a home or work address. When you make your paypal payment, the address we are shipping it to must be listed on your payment. There is an option for “Gift Address” that you can use if you have a post office box listed on your paypal account. You cannot just email us and give us a different address to ship to, the address MUST be noted on your paypal payment. This is the policy of both website and Paypal and in order for both the Buyer and Seller to be protected, this policy must be followed. If an item is very large or heavy, it will be shipped by Fed Ex. Or, if we add several items together, and if we combine shippping, it will be shipped by Fed Ex Ground. These Decoys will be shipped by Fed Ex Ground Happy Bidding
My Policies:
All items are shipped by delivery confirmation. In case of damage, all packing material must be saved and contact us and instructions will be given. In the majority of cases, we will ask that you return the item for a refund.
All items shipped to Colorado requires that we collect Colorado Sales Tax. Thank you for your understanding.
On Auction Style Listings we request payment within 7 days via paypal
On our Fixed Priced items, we request payment when you check out and use the Buy It Now Option.

Please Note:
On boxes over 2 pounds or items that are large in nature, we ship by Fed Ex and our shipping price includes Fed Ex shipping with insurance and tracking. That means we must ship to a physical address. This address can be a home address or work address. Fed Ex DOES NOT SHIP TO P.O. BOX.
If your paypal address contains a Post Office Box, when you make payment you can select a “Gift Address” and include your physical home address or physical work address.
Thus, on heavy or large items, when you make your paypal payment, you must furnish us the physical address on your payment.
If an item is heavy (2 pounds or more) or large and you still wish to have an item shipped to a post office box, email us and we will tell you the cost of that shipping, which will be more than Fed Ex, because we get a corporate discount and we pass that savings onto you. Our intent is to save you money. But, if you have special shipping requirements, we must charge for the actual cost of those requirements.
INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS

We have had a rash of internatonal bidders bid on our items without reading our policy on shipping.
We will not alter our shipping policies even though you email and ask us to ship by first class or flat rate postage.
Only bid if you are willing to pay the priority mail rates.
We give our reasons below.
Based on the policies of both website and Paypal, items shipped domestically and internationally must be shipped with tracking information in order for both the SELLER and BUYER to be protected by the Paypal Protection Plan. This requires that an item shipped internationally be shipped by priority mail. The cost to ship a little envelope is now almost $30.00 for many countries and it increases for size and weight. We realize it is expensive to ship from one country to another, but those are the rates handed to us and you must be willing to pay them if you bid.We will not ship by First Class Mail because tracking and insurance is not available with this type of shipping. We will not ship by Priority Flat Rate either, because tracking and insurance is not available with Flat Rate Postage. We wish there were more financially feasible ways to ship from one country to another and still have tracking and insurance to protect both the buyer and seller but there are no other options at this time. Again, Flat Rate Priority does not offer tracking.So, please understand that we will follow the policy of website and Paypal and ship with tracking – which means we only ship by Priority Mail to other countries and this is expensive.If you bid, please understand these costs. We will not change or alter this policy, because more and more people realize they can make a claim if no tracking was provided in the shipping and if no tracking is provided, a Seller will have the entire amount of money taken from their paypal account. We have already lost over $1200 from these false claims and we can no longer afford to ship an item without tracking.
We wish website and Paypal would change their policy, but until they come up with a different policy, we will follow their policy which states, Sellers must provide proof of their shipment in the case of a claim. Sending the item by priority mail with tracking is the least expensive way to do this and provide proof and tracking that the item was sent and delivered.
We also must clearly state that our shipping charges do not include other fees that you may incur, such as custom fees, duties and taxes that your local country may impose on all packages coming into the country. There is also often delays in international shipping. We cannot control how long it will take for an item to arrive.

The items are not new in the box and nothing we have ever sold has been perfect or mint. We try and list any major defect – but every item has been used and will show a degree of wear. And, sometimes it is hard to describe the degree of wear or use and everyone’s perception and standards are different.
