Nice Example of an 18th Century Folding Straight Razor
3 3/4″ Long x 6 3/8″ Open
Just
as seen illustrated on the pages of George Nuemann’s landmark volume
“The Collectors Encyclopedia of the American Revolution”.
A
simple American folding razor, this features a straight forged iron
blade, iron hardware and a simple folding wooden handle that helped to
protect the edge of the blade when not in use.
Nice patina, some slight oxidation to blade, overall
Up for a week with no reserve and a low starting bid.
