I am relisting this item as it was returned and my policy is you can return for any reason. I’m not fully clear why the buyer returned it, maybe he was expecting a 16s not a 6s. Not really sure, but here it is again.
This is a 6 size hunters case lever set 1891 Elgin sold under the name Jos Hermann The serial number is 106523 and I believe it to be a model 1 15 jewel 3/4 plate hunting movement. The balance is good and will tick if you give it a quick twist but it needs a cleaning and is not currently running . The hands are perfect but the dial does have some hairline cracks. There is a photo of a lady that has been pasted to the inside of the original glass crystal. The case is solid 14K by Dubois W.C.Co. The case is heavy and in beautiful condition. There is also a small diamond in the center on the back. The dust cover is engraved “Pattie J. Pope Dec 25 1891” Please see the pictures. Feel free to contact me .
