I believe this is a German Bisque head doll.
This 16″ tall darling has no makers marks visible.
She has her
original, blue glass fixed eyes. I believe the leather body and arms to also be original.
The dress is a later addition but fits her well.
Her wig is mohair, done up in a braided coil and long curls.
Her face paint is lovely, the head has no damage. The leather body has bent elbows and jointed knees.
As you can see in the photos, one knee is taped and saw dust is leaking a bit.
Her arms are porcelain from just below the elbow to the hands.
She is from the estate of a doll collector.
