ANTIQUE VICTORIAN SILVER ALBERTINA/ALBERTINE WATCH CHAIN/BRACELET with DOG CLIP & T-BAR

I really rate this wonderful old Victorian 5 strand Albertina chain complete with dog clip & T-bar. Whilst originally designed to take fobs and pocket watches these days they are usually worn as bracelets and this one is ideal given that it measures 20cm/8″ long and measures 20mm at the widest point. The bottom foxtail chain is attached to the hand-chased central slider whilst the other 4 chains move freely through it.

I have provided lots of photos for you to assess this beautiful piece for yourself. All elements are in and it is a quality item weighing 29g. It is stamped ‘SILVER’ on the end of the dog clip and also bears a maker’s mark but it is rubbed and hard to read. All elements test fully as silver and obviously are.

This is a good quality piece with high quality detail – I am sure the winning bidder will be thrilled with their purchase.

I really rate this highly collectable and unusual old Victorian 2 strand Albertina chain complete with dog clip & T-bar. Whilst originally designed to take fobs and pocket watches these days they are usually worn as bracelets and this one is ideal given that it measures 21cm/8.25″ long. The central silver barrel bead is outstanding, sturdy in construction and beautifully designed. The barley twist T-bar also adds a nice touch.

I have provided several photos for you to assess this beautiful piece for yourself. All elements are in and it is a quality item weighing 10g. It is not hallmarked as is typical of that era but all elements test fully as silver and obviously are.

This is a delightful piece with quality detail – I am sure the winning bidder will be thrilled with their purchase.
