Charming miniature children’s book by Annie Frost, published by The American Tract Society, New York; THE PICNIC, second in the ‘Tiny Book’ series. It measures 2.7/16″ by 1.5/8″, and is in very nice condition, with 176 pages and 8 nicely done, full page illustrations in black and white. Embossed green fabric over boards cover is decorated on the front with gilt leaves and a tiny chromolithograph paste down of a child’s face. Sweet morality story about children going on a picnic at Grandma and Grandpa’s, in the country. Inside front cover has previous owner’s name and date of Aug. 12, 1883. Edges and corners are all in very nice condition; no fraying. Binding is tight. Thanks for looking.
