This is a 1879 Antique Willcox Gibbs Hand crank sewing machine, Ser. No.A323572 that I have restored. All paint was removed and repainted with black and after new decals where put on; clear paint was sprayed on to seal and protect the new decals. The machine sews a good stitch and works easy. I made the thread holder and it work as it should. The wood is pine with a early American finish on it and clear paint was sprayed on to give a shine to it, it has felt pads on the bottom of the base to protect the table tops. Question welcome.
