This is a vintage plain wedding ring or band in 22 caret gold. The ring weighs 2g on my digital scales, but please be aware that the scales are not jewellery specific.
As picture one shows, it is slightly misshapen so may only be good for scrap. The ring size is approximately UK S (US 9). It carries a full set of Birmingham hallmarks crown, 22, anchor and a capital Q in a box with cut off corners which I believe dates it to 1865. It also carries a maker’s mark W.M.
Please note THERE
IS NO BUY IT NOW PRICE ON THIS LISTING. I prefer to let the auction run. Bidding starts at 99p and
there is no reserve.
Now the boring bit………
