Chinese jadeite carved vase with lid
Up for auction is a Chinese jadeite carved lidded vase with wooden stand. It measures about 4.75 inches tall without stand, is in very good condition with the exception of a very minor nick on the nose to one of the dragon, other wise is excellent. vase is finely carved with two dragon and clouds, and the lid with rainbow shape fire wave. This vase was purchased directly from Christies New York, label attached, it is one of my favorite jadeite with glassy green color. I am dating this back to early 20th century, or could be earlier.
