Beautiful! This auction brings you an antique D&C (Delinieres & Co.) Limoges hand painted cabinet plate for Pickard. The backstamps date this to c1905-1910. Measures 10 1/2″ in diameter handle to handle. These are open/reticulated handles.
The background color is a soft yellow glaze. The scalloped rim is finished in gilt. Rich pink fuchsia flowers border the plate with olive green leaves. The medallion in the center has a tiny glaze chip as seen in last photo. Light scratches on the rim, however, the gilt is very rich in color.
