This antique mother of pearl multi knife comes with it’s pouch that shows usage and wear (see photos) also this is the pouch the knife was in when I received and I’m not sure if it’s the original pouch as it seem to be a little long and knife to short… The knife has 2 blades, 1 scissors, 1 file… The main blade is stamped VOM CLEFF & CO GERMANY and is tight with good open and close snap… The smaller blade may be stamped but has rust and I can’t really tell, this blade has no snap and will go back too far opened than it should, shown in one of the photos (see photos) also shown in one of the photos is the gap inside (see photos)… The scissors are tight and have good open and close snap, operate as they should with good spring tension and I see no stamping or markings… The file is tight with good open and close snap… The knife is missing one of it’s end tools that slides in like a swiss type knife… The blades file and scissors show usage/wear, rust, scratches, sharpening, patina, age, and what ever else you may see or find in the zoom in enlarge close up photos… The mother of pearl handles are thick and beautiful but has a crack in corner area shown in photos ( see photos ) and please use your own judgment on the condition of the handles… Handles are still well intact… This knife shows usage/wear, rust, patina, age and signs of being a old antique used knife… The liners are milled/filled and still show but are worn… This is a super nice mother of pearl antique German made knife for collection and would make a great piece to display…
