This great old watch is labeled “M. J. Tobias, Liverpool, Horizontal, 4 holes, jeweled.” It is in a wonderful old case, with chain and fob attached. The clip of the chain is patented from 1904 but the watch seems much older than that. It is not in working condition. Inside the case, it is labeled “Plique or Plaque, OR 18K” with something underneath that that is illegible. Its serial number is 9220 FA. The consignor of the watch believed it to be 925 but I am unable to find a mark for that.
