This early rich flow blue 14-paneled bowl is decorated in a Gaudy pattern of dark cobalt blue morning glory flowers and leaves and accented with hand painted copper luster detail. The saucer is 5 ¾†wide and 1 1/8 tall. It is a very deep blue flowing through the backside. Made in the early to mid 1800s.
It is unmarked except for the hand painted letter A. Original to the making there is 3 stilt marks and an overglaze foot rim flaw. This English ironstone is in great condition, clean, fine age crazing, no cracks, chips or repairs.
