Ladies’ Elgin Antique Hunting Case Pocket Watch.
This antique pocket watch is 0 size (case diameter 35 mm). The movement is made by Elgin National Watch Co. and has 11 jewels. The movment looks good. The movement runs for a short time, but then stops, because the mainspring is slipping and/or is broken, so that will need to be dealt with. The case is gold filled. The case lid latches securely and opens correctly to just a little bit past 90 degrees. The case has light wear to the engraving and several very small brass spots. The case is also engraved “Emma”. This is a nice little watch that would be good as a pendant or on a watch pin.
