is a stunning Antique Opalescent Vaseline Glass Barber Bottle. The Barber Bottle is one of the finest examples I have sold, complete with the original shaker top, which since it is not marked I will have to presume is not Sterling, but Silver Plate. The Bottle is a lovely shade of Green with White Opalescent patterns covering pretty much the entire surface. I believe the pattern is Fern & Daisy, but I am no expert so please see all our detailed photos. The Bottle is a nice size for display, or could also be used as a Decanter or Vase, measuring approx 7-1/2″ tall by 4″ across the body or 1-1/2″ across the top and 3/4″ across the opening itself. The Bottle is in , it shows some nice signs of legitimate age on the bottom but no chips, cracks or repairs. I have not had a Barber Bottle to sell for years, they used to bring some very handsome prices when I did the show circuit, but no doubt someone will get a nice bargain now, since we sell everything with $8.50 opening bids and never have reserves, ever ! Returns:
We make great effort to accurately describe each item listed. Returns are accepted, if either condition, country of origin or dating we state is significantly incorrect. In such cases we refund your shipping costs as well. Like you, we are only human, and make mistakes. Hopefully, not too many. But remember, the items you see are antiques. Hence, have an expected amount of wear from normal use. As such, returning an item because we failed to mention the tiniest bit of wear, or barely discernible flaw is not acceptable. Nor do we accept returns based on buyer’s remorse, change of taste, or because a buyer did not realize how “small” four inches might be once in hand. Also all returns must be posted within 3 days of delivery confirmation.
