Item: Five Antique M. Redon Limoges Hand-Painted Cup Saucer Plate Sets
Description: An absolutely charming hand-painted Limoges cup, saucer and plate. Both saucer and plate have almost a free-form scalloped edge with a lovely hand-painted design of flowers outlined in gold. The edges are all gold with a softened splatter look. The cup is quite light and would be considered a demitasse cup. Each piece is numbered 3440. Each piece is in with no chips or cracks and remarkably the gold has no wear. There is a tiny manufacturer’s dot on the inside of the cup, a common occurrence in older porcelain. The handle of the cup has had the edges feather-brushed with gold and the center of the handle left white. There is a raised design on all pieces with some elements of beading.
Size: Plate: 6 3/8″ wide; Saucer: 4 1/4″; Cup: 3″ wide to handle x 1 5/8″ high
