THE MOVEMENT IS STAMPED BEHIND THE BELL WITH “JAPY FRERES & C., EXPN. 1855, GND. MED. D’HONN.”.THIS HIGHLY UNUSUAL CLOCK STRIKES ON A BELL AND COMES COMPLETE WITH A KEY.
THE CLOCK HAS A DRUM-SHAPED BRASS CASE WITH HANDLE. THE ESCAPEMENT IS VISIBLE THROUGH AN OVAL GLASS WINDOW ON TOP OF THE CASE.
THE CLOCK MEASURES 4 INCHES IN DIAMETER AND 5 1/4 INCHES WITH THE HANDLE UP.
