Columbus Watch Co. 18 size 15 jewel open face pendent-set pocketwatch. Very cool piece that looks to have been made for the Canadian market with a Canadian style 24 hour sunk-seconds enamel dial and a Canadian made A.W.C.Co. “Premier” model gold-filled case. Dial has the unusual feature of red Arabic 13-24 hour numerals being outside of the black Roman 1-12 hour numerals, and case has the very unusual feature of threads in the opposite of normal arrangement with the front and rear of the case sitting down inside the case body and with the front and rear case threads on the outer edge of their surface rather than the normal style with the threads on the inside. Movement is marked “Adjusted” and has a damaskeened nickel finish, and its serial number is 202263.
